I have lived at Brentwood Downs for over a year now, and I would highly recommend it.

Pros-
Pretty place to live
Amenities offered are nice (W/D connection, pool/jacuzzi, workout room, etc.)
Maintenance does fix things quickly, and replaces most light bulbs as well
Groundskeepers keep things clean & working
Office staff is friendly
Community atmosphere with all kinds of people (younger, older, single, families)
Events planned to bring people together and foster friendly atmosphere (Pool Party, Breakfasts, etc)
Floor plan is nice (2 bedrooms at opposite ends of apartment with living room in the middle)
With move-in special, monthly rent is good value for what you get in return
Water/trash service doesn't cost much each month

Cons-
Some of my neighbors can be noisy (the complex can't really help that, I guess)
I've had a recurring problem with my shower spout, and even though maintenance has responded quickly each time, the problem comes back
Electricity bills can be high (especially during the winter)
