this is such a great complex, especially compared to where i was at. maintenance responds within 24 hours (or 1 business day) and does a good job. the office staff all knows me by name, and is always friendly when i come in to get something or put in a maintenance request. they were very understanding when i missed the deadline for rent payment, and didn't charge me the usual late fee for it. i had a spider problem in my apartment and they sent the bug guy out the first monday after i requested him (he comes to the complex every monday), and the maintenance team was sent out to see if they could find how the spiders were getting in. they resealed the doors and i've only seen 1 spider since (after having a week where i killed an average of 5 spiders a day, having seen only 1 spider in 3 weeks is great!). my neighbors are very kind, and always say hi when they see me. most of them have been living at brentwood downs for 10 years. the pool hours are great (10A-11P) so i can actually get out and swim at night after work. the only problem i've had with noise has been the birds that dwell in the trees surrounding my building, who love to start chirping before 7 AM. there is a "landscape technician" who keeps the flowers and bushes maintained, and a grounds crew comes out once a week to mow and take care of the lawns. i will recommend this to anyone who asks.
