Not worth the price

I lived at this property briefly in 2007, just as they were finishing up the so called "remodels." Not much to them as I could tell, as I had looked at this property last year before the remodel, and they don't look a whole lot different. (Just an excuse to raise rents, which were already near a grand a month before) It's an extremely small space, and there is alot of noise from the neighbors. (I had one of those "stompers" above me, as one of your other reviewers described.) When I complained of their tv loudness at 2 am, I was told to "go ahead and call the police." Better instead would be that the management do their job, and enforce ALL tenants rights, but it just seems to me that for the little time I was there, it was all about getting your money, and then they forget you. (The property manager, or her asst, I don't know which one she is, would actually stand there in the office and "hold out her hand" and say "gimme!" if it was the first of the month. Greedy.) They charge another $100 a month just for a "carport" area with an assigned space, which is a rip-off. You aren't "protected from the elements" like in a garage or anything. Heating unit LOUD, so much so that you have to turn up tv or anything you're listening to. Entry door VERY drafty; it looks like there was a space "jimmied" or something between it and the jamb, so cold air always coming in, ergo, more heat needed, higher electric bill. Not worth $1200 a month, not by a longshot. They will tell you when you rent here that "all properties in the area are this high", but if you look around, and don't take their word for it, that is not true. There are some very competitive prices on locations close by, with alot more property perks like tennis courts, fitness centers on the property, garages, etc.

I rent an assigned covered parking spot and pay only $25. I just added it to my lease just a few months ago. I think perhaps you may have misunderstood the fee.
