I have lived at Brookridge Apartments for four years and one year prior to this stay. We have mostly stayed here because we wanted to be certain of our next move because of our young daughter.

Every year the neighborhood - Brookridge in particular - has been on a steady decline. My husband and I relate it to living in the projects. Except your paying premium prices. You complain about noise levels, nothing's done. YOu put in requests for repairs, they take forever to complete them. You park in the wrong spots and people will hit your car and go on like it's no big deal.

Not only do you have truly loud and ghetto neighbors, but you also have the noise of the ambulances racing to the hospital and the air traffic to contend with.

It's true the water bill is ASTOUNDING!!!! And, everytime you look up, you have a new manager. When we first arrived here management was excellent. They had rules that everyone needed to abide by or they were outta here! Now, anything goes.

Find somewhere else to stay! It sucks!!!!!

I agree with this person that the water bill is very expensive but unless you have lived in the ghetto, you cannot compare this to the ghetto. I am a dissadisfied renter myself with the bugs, water bill etc... that I listed in my review but this place is not the ghetto, go to cabrini green in Chicago or thr robert taylor homes in chicago and you will see ghetto, this person has no idea what they are talking about.
