Fantastic before it went condo

Writing about Buckhead Place now is outdated, because as of fall 2005, it became Montview Condominiums. The previous owners were a couple who were more than fantastic and ran a really awesome operation. David (the husband) built the place himself, and I still think it's the most well-built, well-kept apartment complex in the area. They also treated the residents like people, not customers. For instance, they gave me my keys when I signed the lease (the apartment was vacant) even though my lease didn't start for two more weeks - I had possession before they ever charged me rent!
However, they decided to sell to a company who decided to turn the place condo. (Suzanne even warned me that they were planning to sell before I signed my lease; she said she didn't feel right letting me sign it without telling me that.) The new management is interested in two things: one, selling the overpriced condos, and two, getting the renters out so they can remodel. They honored our leases and offered closing bonuses, but there is no sense of welcome anymore.
You can't rent here anymore, so writing this is mostly pointless. The only reason I say all this is because the review prior to this one was probably based on the new management, not the old. I just wanted to clarify that. David and Suzanne were awesome, and I wish they hadn't sold the place! (My ratings are all based on when it was still Buckhead Place, not Montview.)
