The apartment for dowtown is affordable and since they are being renovated they are nicer than the old units. However, the place has the worst air unit. They still use the air conditioners and heaters that are built in, but you can not turn on air in the winter because they shut it off all together. That would not be that bad except the heat seaps through even when the unit is off and this winter had been very warm. You have to be ok with noises because the trains through here are horrible and noisy. Also, there is the worst roach problem I have ever seen. We are fixing to move and I am having to wash everything in this house because the bugs are soooooo bad. I liked the place at first but I do not anymore. The staff is crapy. And unless you "fit in" with the owners here then you are screwed. And parking is so ridiculous. They are more concerned with selling their spots than providing for tenants at resonable prices or free.
