I have lived here over 2 years, in 3 different apts. I have not seen any bugs, but then again, I keep a clean apt. The management and the maintenance have been very quick & responsive to me, whatever I've needed. I don't consider myself too demanding though. The other residents I've encountered there have all been very nice, and it's a great mix of all walks of life. All of us on my floor know each other and we actually have a "neighborhood" feel on our floor. The views are killer no matter which side you live on. And gas cooking can't be beat, especially since it's included in the rent. As is electric and water. This place has received way more bad reviews than it should. There's no such thing as "perfect", so when some of these negative reviewers find that perfect place, please let me know on this site where it is because I want to see it. Maybe I'm the type that doesn't let much bother me, but I've lived downtown over 6 yrs., and I think Capitol Towers is a great place to come home to at night.

Would it bother you if they happen to plant flowers in the EMPTY Flower beds outside, or is your rent not enough for them to do that ? Look at the buildings around you, all nicely kept with pretty flowers. OK how about the grill area that states KEEP OUT Private Property? And as far as the pool it's sitting empty waiting for a child to fall in and get hurt ??????? Where are you from backwoods?

LOLOL if you can't tell that this was written by someone in management than wow. I mean c'mon. Look at how its worded. It honestly comes off as more of an advertisement than a review. And on the off chance this is really a review.. you honestly must be blind. You can see roaches on every floor crawling on the walls, even during the day. If you are bold enough to talk to the "pest control" guys, they'll even tell you that what they're doing is futile. If you even do the minutest of research on roaches and eradicating them, you'll see it takes a combined effort of insect growth regulators, baiting, and insecticides. The guys who come and spray their weak Demon-WP solution are honestly just there to make it seem as if they're putting forth effort. They don't give a ----, thats quite clear to anyone who has been in this "building" more than a month. Honestly this place should be put up to be condemned. I've seen shanty shacks with better living conditions.
