I use to live in Nashville at Capitol Towers. I recently had an offer for a great job back in Tn. I went for the interview, and stopped by Capitol Towers. I was planning on moving back there if I took the job. I could not believe how terrible the management has let this fantastic Historic Place get.
The first thing I noticed was how there were NO flowers, well except for the ones that were dead from last year near the pool, every other bed flower bed was empty or full of weeds. Then I seen a note on the door by the now half empty pool ( full of green water ) that stated this exit door is out of order ( isn't that a fire hazard to the tenants)'
As I walked toward that door I seen a sign that said Danger '' near where we use to have great tenant cook outs, as I was leaving, in major disbelief, one of the people that lives there said that the grill area had been shut down all of last year. She also said that one third of the building was empty, what a shame, that the owners have let the managers ruin such a wonderful place to live. Maybe they should refocus on whats important the CUSTOMERS that pay the bills. A Sad past resident !!!!

I have to agree with you. I have lived at Capitol Tower for a little over a year. If you think the outside is bad most of the floors are the inside are just as bad. The lower floors are infested with cockroaches, cabinets are falling apart, sliding glass doors to patios are so deteriorated, that I had the frame fall apart when I tried to close the door and the glass nearly fell on top of me. When I moved in they told me the patio and pool would be fix by this summer 2009, now they say they do not know when it will be fixed.

I currently live in capitol tower and moved in last november, the first night here I saw a roach, flipped out, bought spray and traps told the woman in the office. apparently a guy on my floor had a terrible infestation. they had some ------ pest control company come by and do absolutely nothing aside from making it seem as if they tried. they said they were bombing the apartment and never did. I see roaches in the hallways, in the apartment and I keep it clean as humanly possible, i vacuum everyday etc clean walls, nothing helps. they're method of only spray 1 floor/certain apartments a week does nothing but cause them to migrate. nothing short of fumigating the building will ever stop the massive roach infestation
