My boyfriend lives in this apartment complex. This was an upgrade for him, and at the time he moved in until about 2 months ago, things were great. The first situation happened when we were walking to the mail box and a car was driving extremely fast through the complex, and due to the lack of sidewalks, there was no choice but to walk in the street. We simply stated "hey slow down" the car slammed on the brakes and 3 guys jumped out of the car and asked what did you say' Again, he stated I said "you need to slow down" they proceeded to tell us that "we needed to watch it or they would kill us" How does that make you feel' We have never seen the car again in the complex, so are assumption is that this car was just visiting. But, would it have happened at all if the gate was fixed'' Then the entire pool situation! We do have a life, but it is nice to be able to lay out by the pool on the weekends especially since you are paying for that amentity!!!! It was well into July before the pools were open.....that's crazy for Tennessee. Then, two weeks ago an apartment near us was broken into. The police were here. Maintenance people were here. I felt like a screen from COPS!! Then last weekend, in the same apartment there was a shooting! Yes, a shooting.....so now I feel like a screen from CSI. We had 11 police cruisers here, yes 11. Apparently those people are on their way out of the complex, but this is two incendents that have happened were my life has been jeopordize.......If you want a "life experience" move here!!
