I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this place

This complex probably was a decent place at one time. There are some very glaring problems that I have noticed since I have lived here.

1: The carpet is the cheapest I have ever seen in an apartment (I have lived in at least 20 or more). It is so cheap that it's scratchy to the touch. The pile is almost as short as indoor/outdoor carpet. This was installed brand new. I have lived here less than 6 months and it is starting to wear in places.

2: The walls and construction of the complex are very shoddy and cheap. I live in the middle of a 3 story unit. I can't hear the people next to me but the people up above I can hear pretty much all day/night. When they walk across the floor it sounds like elephants stomping. You can also hear conversations and other physical activities if you get my drift. This is NOT something that I want to hear from a neighbor. The counters and vinyl flooring has all kinds of marks, cuts, burns, etc. Also, the door in one of the bedrooms broke complete in half revealing the inside of the door. It is made out of cardboard. No joke!

3: The common facilities need major upgrading. The whirlpool jets have never worked since I have lived here. There are maybe 15 jets and only two of them function. This has not been repaired in 6 months. Also, in the suana there is a whole wood bench missing that has not been replaced. The two story fitness center is a joke. The equipment is very outdated and ancient. When the pool was open, there were always bugs and trash inside it. This seemed to be an everyday thing. I actually used the cleaning equipment myself on a number of occassions because I wanted to use the pool.

Other negatives are the grounds (leaves have never been raked up, broken branches are everywhere, the paint on the walls is cheap, neighbors are noisy and not very friendly. I have only spoken to one neighbor in six months. You do have to pay for water at this complex which I think should be included.

Positives: semi-friendly staff although I have never had very many problems. I usually just drop the check off and leave. Maintenance has always come the same day I have called or at least the next. An emergency request was taken care of in 10 minutes (very efficient).
