kind of sucked.......

Not all of my experiences were been bad at the Crossings. I liked my apartment (except the kitchen space...you cannot possibly fit two adults in there). I liked my neighbors. Maintenance has always been pretty timely. My main problem was with management. Ever since Lisa left, this place's office has gone to ---- (with the exception of Christy, who has worked there since I moved in). I have a small dog, and when I took her out, I do my best to pick up after her. But sometimes, it is just not feasible. If it is raining or she has ---- behind a bush, I am just not going to do it! Well, I got a nasty little note from Shaunda telling me to pick up after my pet or else. Like it is really realistic to, 100% of the time, pick up ----! Not to mention that the ONLY dumpster in the complex was a good hike away from my apartment. Also, I had a neighbor tell me that when you are late on rent, they are only LEGALLY allowed to charge you 10% of what you OWE, not your whole rent! So if you are $100 short come the first, look forward to having a big fat $60 late fee, not the $10 you should owe, added ILLEGALLY. I only just learned that right before I moved out of my apartment, so I never got to put that knowledge to good use. I have since moved out of the Crossings and found a much better apartment just down the street at The Grove. Staff is polite and helpful, and my apartment, though a little bit more expensive, is leaps and bounds ahead of the box I called home at The Crossings. PS I lived near a police officer, and he told me of multiple break-ins. Not to cars...but IN apartments! scary SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ
