A good place to live.

I read through the complaints, and I can't help but think that it's just the same individual who had a really bad day. I have found the staff friendly and they were even willing to negotiate the rent increase. Yes, there are nasty speedbumps, but they are there for safety. No, not all people pick up after their dogs, but the dogs and their oweners are quite friendly if you actually stop to talk to them. There are joggers, and the maintenence crew very responsive and helpful. All my problems have always been fixed (or at least attended to within 24 hours of calling. True, I have been here a year, and the jacuzzi hasn't worked most of the time, but it is now. I feel that the ameneties and the friendliness of my neigbors and the rent staff outweigh the minor problems. They are always trying to make improvements around here. My biggest complaint, though, is the fact that when I have the heat or air conditioning on, there is always about a 15 degree difference between the upstairs and the downstairs. This is such an annoyance, and they told me that all the townhomes had this problem, but there wasn't much they could do. The gave me ideas for solutions, but I really don't want to hang a sheet downstairs to close off the stairwell. Overall, this is the best place I have lived, and I am happy here. I will only move out when I decide to buy a house (or move to a new town for job purposes).
