This is my first apartment, and I think I like it here. I agree that things are a little cheaply done, but I've been able to fix the place up to look really nice. It's small, but I actually think it's just the right size for us. I've never had a problem with rats or bugs inside at all, although I do live on the top floor so that may be a contributing factor in my favor. That being said, I haven't had problems with noise either (a few here-and-theres, but nothing worth complaining about). I love the little fireplace and balcony. I am home alone 6/7 days a week and feel safe; I've even gone for a walk at 11pm (they could really use more lighting though). I'd like to send huge compliments to the maintenance. They are always FAST. My one complaint is that the apartments are outdated (at least in my building). I've noticed alot rusted harware and "quick fixes" that were painted over to lure me in. I'm pretty happy with this place, and I would recommend it.
