Leasing Office Staff- Two thumbs WAY down

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2009

My husband and I lived in this apartment for three years. Aside from the occasional pest problem or broken refrigerator the apartment itself was not bad, and the maintenance crew was phenomenal. Dealing with the people who work in the front office, on the other hand, was a complete nightmare. I found them to be, for the most part, unorganized, rude, and just plain hateful at times. When we moved out 4 months ago I thought those days were behind us. However, we were notified last week that they had sent us to collections for a bill we'd never seen. We're currently in the midst of figuring this out, but the manager, Susan, and another worker, Shanna, have been nothing but rude and unprofessional with us. We would NEVER let any of our friends or family live in that apartment complex. Though it's financially affordable, it's really not worth the headaches.

When the current management company took over, they acted like the old management was not up to snuff. They acted like they were going to do things right. Ha. They don't come close to the old group.

This is completely TRUE. The management office is very uncooperative. The maintenance crew is great. I would not recommend this place.

I agree the office staff is terrible. Anytime I have to put in a service request, Shanna always acts like it is a huge burden for her to even listen to me. The maintenance crew is very professional and is always very friendly. They even know my dog by name and always greet her when they come in!

FYI - newer management has now taken over. Shanna should be gone soon...especially if the complaints keep coming in. I agree about maintenance - totally worth living here just for them.

I cannot stand Kitoya. What kind of name is that anyway? I guess Kia, or Toya was too simple, and sensical for whoever named her. They must have put her in there to deal with the Black residents, but she was a bad choice. She tries to come off as professional, and friendly, but when you press her for something you need done that wasnot attended to, out comes the attitude. This place is a real joke. Luxury living my ***.
