Gardens at Hillsboro Village

Things aren't the same as they used to be... From: GardensGoer Date posted: 4/16/2007 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2007   I've been living at the Gardens of Hillsboro Village for over 3 years now, and things have changed quite a bit in that time. When I first got here, the management team was great. They really took the time to know you and talk to you. Unfortunately, now the management is not good (fortunately, maintenance is still decent). The management team is very superficial, and all they care about is getting your money. Plus, I am a little concerned about the structural integrity of my building and the one next to it (I live in the non-hardwood floor buildings area). There are wooden posts in the stairwell that are holding the ceiling up...and they have been there for over 6 months with no sign of repair. In addition, I have noticed cracks in my walls, and floorboard is slowly separating from the floor, leaving a gap. In other words, it looks like the building is settling, and it is putting a strain on the structure. Yes, this complex has an incredibly good location, but for the price you pay, I'm not sure it's worth it now. Maybe a few years ago I would have thought differently, but not now.
