A good value, but complex going down hill

I have lived in Gazebo Apartments for the past year and a half now and have to say overall, I have been satisfied with the complex. The rent is relatively low. ($530/month for a one bedroom). The community "seems" to be pretty safe. I have never had an incidence of break-in to either my car or apartment, but these apartments are not located in the best location of town. There is nothing spectacular about these apartments. They are about 30 years old and the interiors show it. My only real complaint about this complex is the management. The management has changed hands since I first moved in and I have found the new management to be lackidasical at best when I have called in and complained about something. I have also noticed that the grounds are not as well kept since the new management take-over. One other thing...they have dropped the rent prices since I have moved in. When I first signed my lease they had me at $500.00 a month. Now that I am moving out, they have sent me letters saying they have specials running for $415.00 a month (which is lower than my original move-in rent!). This is a great deal, but by lowering the price on the apartments, they are lowering the kind of clientele that will be moving in and that's just something to think about...
In summary, these apartments are mediocre and perfect if your a college student or can't afford to live in a newer complex.
