When we first checked into Grade View, my wife and I were eager. Gated community, nice facilities, and it seemed like a quiet place. We moved in and life was....Grande. We've been here for a couple of months now, and we've found that life isn't so grande anymore. We can hear conversations from the above and next door apartments. TV and Stereo noise at late hours, the thundering from above us isn't the weather, it's a single person as far as I can tell. Gated community is a joke to these people, even the residents tailgate into the property, It's really more of a hassle than a help. The space is nice, but the kitchen layout is difficult to navigate when 2 people are trying to get a meal ready. The dryer vents onto the enclosed porch, so you're constantly cleaning up lint. The outside community seems quiet, but it's a hassle when you are trying to sleep late at night and the neighbor decides it's time to party or watch late night T.V. in the bedroom. When the upstairs neighbor moved in, they pounded away with a hammer until well after 1:00 A.M. and even now it seems that someone is doing Tai-bo or something at midnight. I guess from other reviews, it just depends on who you get for neighbors, but so far I've never lived in an apartment where I could hear normal converstaions from the next unit. I'm not impressed.
