We have lived here for 5 months and have a top floor 3 bedroom. The apartment layout is great - we have a baby and from the kitchen I can see him in the living room, dining room, and hallways. Noise in the living room and master bedroom is barely audible in the 2 smaller bedrooms. The in-apartment amenities are fantastic - washer/dryer, jetted tub, large master bathroom with 2 sinks, walk-in closets, screened-in porch. We´ve had no problem with lint on the porch as others have reported. There is a fireplace but we haven´t used it. The whole place was very clean when we arrived.



The grounds are very well kept. Play areas for children are OK. Unfortunately people let their dogs poop everywhere and often don´t clean it up despite bags being available to them. But overall the outside areas consistently look nice. Pool was very nice during the summer. The treadmills in the exercise center frequently don´t work; that´s all we´ve tried over there.



As far as noise, we have a very quiet building - occasionally we hear people coming up the stairs in 1 one of the smaller bedrooms or faint music from below, but that´s it. Our building tenents are older than most other buildings, though, and there´s no really loud dogs. Some of the buildings have more college-aged people and are much louder. People are very friendly and I know most of the people in my building.



The maintainence staff is great and very helpful. The office staff is OK - some are nice, but a few of them are very snobby and less than helpful. For example, they closed the office early one night without any notice to us. A couple of us were approaching the door to go in and get packages. The woman working that afternoon came out, locked the door, and said "We´re closed." Then she walked away leaving us speechless. They do have fun parties from time to time.



Overall, we´re pleased and would recommend this complex to a friend with the caveat that you just need to ignore the snobbies in the office and try to deal with the nicer people over there if you really need something. Oh - and watch where you step outside.
