i have lived all over the state of Tn. I have had many, many apartments and my standards are high. I chose Grandeview because of its location in bellevue, the outside appearance and the inside of the apartments.

I have had no problems with the apartment itself, except a few issues with the garbage disposal which maintence always got to the next day. they have a 24 hour gaurentee on maintence requests and Ive never had them go past that. The kitchen is updated and new, the bathroom is huge, with new fixtures. The cabinets are in excellent condition, the floors/walls looked brand new when I moved in.The inside is spacious, new-looking, and clean. I am extremely satisfied with that.

I live on the bottom floor, i have 3 floors above me (directly above me is a family with a toddler) and I also have an apartment that borders mine on the side. I have never ONCE heard anything from any of these neighbors. I was astounded at how soundproof the walls here. For an apartment, you expect to hear a little noise. I rarely even hear noise from the interstate that is near by. I am 25 so my hearing is good!

The grounds are clean, I love the trash compactor. It doesn't look bad, its hidden and its never full like dumpsters. The mail boxes are nice, too. The staff has been really nice to deal with. I am hard to please so thats good coming from me.


Some things you should know:
The water bill is high. I live alone and I pay $45 for water/sewer which I think is high. I dont know how they get that rate when I am rarely even home.

The parking is less than desirable. I work late and get home around 7pm, I never get a parking spot close to my building. It seems you need to be home by 3 pm to get those spots. Its a hassel when you have groceries. I wish they would go to assigned parking.

Morning traffic: there is no redlight at the end of the road leading up to the complex. The interstate is RIGHT beside this road, in the mornings, cars line up for over a mile on Old Hichory Blvd waiting to get onto the interstate, and the residents coming down Sonya Drive have to wait on some kind driver to let them out. Sometimes I wait 15 mins just to get out.

The complex offers a gym and tanning beds. i tried them both once, the tanning bed is very outdated. I didnt enjoy that. The gym is very good for an apt complex gym. I just enjoy my full scale gym off site.


I hope this helps anyone who is looking to move to this complex. I do enjoy living here, I've been here a year and will renew my lease.
