While I have relatively few complaints about the amenities of this apartment, the management and bureaucracy make it a less than desirable place to live. Multiple hidden fees are added to the already overpriced rental fees. For instance, before living here you are required to pay a non-refundable 're-decorating fee' as well as a security deposit, and have utilities turned on as soon as the lease begins even if no one is residing there at the time. As stated in previous comments, the staff in the main office are incredibly rude, unprofessional, and incompetent. Expect to be spoken to as a child and receive inconsistent answers to questions when dealing with them. Also, I noticed in a previous post by the management that no legal claims have ever been filed against them. This is completely false--I filed a suit in small claims court against them when they refused to return my security deposit and try to charge me an additional $300 to re-carpet the entire apartment when I moved out. While I admittedly did put some wear and tear on the carpet, they were trying to charge me for the entire replacement when, according to their own records it had been in that unit for 2 years prior to my occupancy, so I obviously wasn't responsible for all the damage. Besides, shouldn't the mandatory redecorating fee take care of things like that' I ended up settling out of court with the property.
