Unbelievable!!!

When I read these reviews, I could not believe how similar these complaints were to my own. I lived at the Hamptons for about a year and a half. Anytime I would ever need anything from the staff (which was VERY rare) they acted as though they were doing me a favor. After a year I renewed my lease again to a 10 month lease, and yes, my rent increased. Then in the middle of my second lease, I was offered an amazing job that would require me to relocate. If you live here, DO NOT EVER break your lease!!!! I was severely penalized and not only had to pay increased rent, but had to pay 20% of my entire lease which was a couple of thousand dollars. The staff was completely non-compassionate about my situation and offered me no help or alternative. Further, I attempted to contact the Michelson Corporate office, who owns the Hamptons, several times to discuss possibly reducing the amount I owed them. Not only did I never get to talk to a person, but none of my messages were ever returned. I felt as though I was an ideal resident when I lived at the Hamptons and the way I was treated on the way out felt like a slap in the face. You are not a person living in their complex, you are simply a rent check. This is very unfortunate because it is a very nice place, physically, to live, but I would never advocate moving there.

I COMPLETELY agree with your statments. ALL are true. The Management team does not care about ANY life event or situation you may encounter while in a lease. And they will impose extremely unfair and unreasonable fees to make you "PAY". And forget any dealings with the Management Co - Michelson Realty. They are no use as well. Like the office staff it does not respond to resident inquiries/concerns/issues. Any apartment is only as good as the management who runs it. So take it from a knowledgable source and RUN from this one.
