The apartment was nice, but the office staff was unpredictable and rude. It was time for my rent renewal and one of the "ladies" (I use that term lightly) made a mistake in giving me the wrong quote for the new year. I thought it was doable, so I didn't look for another apartment. When they realized that they made a mistake, they did not make it easy on me. It was either move out in two weeks or pay a huge jump in the rent. There was no leeway. I felt stuck and the office staff was unforgiving and rude. Always their answer was, "You don't want me to pay for a mistake do you'" The other problem with the apartment is that I am a non-smoker and I am sensitive to smoke. Smoke would come through the vents of the apartment. All of my clothes wreaked of cigarette smoke and I'm not a smoker. I can only imagine how much second hand smoke I was getting on a daily basis.
