I agree 100% with all of the other happy residents who posted. The staff has gone out of their way to accommadate my every need. Unlike many apartment staffs, this one does not go through a rotation of new employees every month. I've talked to the same people for the 8 months I've lived here. Amy, Scott and Kathleen are great. The grounds are spotless and beautiful except for some areas where the rain runs off. But I see the groundskeepers making constant efforts to improve that situation. The entire complex is well lit including the pool, mail area, parking lots and breezeways. All of the gates work well and are closed all day, not just at night. My electric bills are between $90-$135 depending on how much energy we use.
I live in a 3 bedroom and it is still very affordable. My roommates and I are extremely happy in this complex.
I'm not really sure what the other reviewers are talking about. One thing about this complex is that it is a very young community. That is a positive or a negative depending on what you're looking for. But some things to remember are: It's an apartment. That means you have to deal with other people. Sometimes folks make noise. That will happen anywhere. Also, things break. Yes, these are brand new buildings but I owned a home for 3 years prior to moving here and as a single female I eventually got tired of fixings things that broke. No matter where you live, things break. The maintenance staff here is very timely considering the number of units they have to tend to. Lastly, luxuries cost money. All of the brand new appliances included in your brand new apartment use energy. If you leave all the track lights on, all the computers and TVs on, turn the air down to 65 degrees, do 6 loads of laundry a week and run the dishwasher every single day, then your electric and water bills are going to be higher. It's not lack of insulation people. It's economics. Get educated and stop whining. If you don't believe me, try shutting down your computer at night and see the difference in your next bill.
Hickory Point is a great place to live, in a great part of town. Everyday when I drive into the complex I look around and feel so blessed to live in such a safe and beautiful complex. Nolensville is nearby but I've yet to experience that being a problem. It's actually the quickest way downtown at night if you want to avoid the highways. All in all, I love living here and plan on renewing my lease, as do my roommates. It sounds to me like the negative posters on this website are spoiled rich kids that have no concept of not having a silver spoon in their mouth (and who's parents must've paid off their teachers in school counting the amount of grammatical errors in their comments). Move back home if you can't live in the real world.

I disagree. I have lived here about 6 months. I do not think it is safe. I think they use "Brentwood" in their name to fool people. This is not Brentwood people, and if you saw the place you would agree it's overpriced for what it is. And the apartments right next to the place is Turtle Creek, which is a whole other story. I am not a rich spoiled kid. I have worked hard for everything I have. I do like the finer things in life, but I have found out this place does not offer that. BTW..I have seen the office staff turn over quite a few times.

Don't worry...if you forget your beeper to open the "gates that are always closed" take the first left to go through those gates that are "never closed" you can get to any apartment through the left-no matter what time of day... How long has it taken them to get those gates "that are always closed" to actually work...i think they are on their 2nd set of gates... You must be new to Nashville...

I felt the same way until my apartment was robbed. Of course, getting yor apartment broken into and being robbed will definitely change your view, especially when you watched yourself lock all of your locks before you left that morning.
