MY APARTMENT WAS BROKEN INTO HERE!!!!! PLEASE READ FOR AN OBJECTIVE VIEW

I used to live in these apartments and had to move abruptly because my apartment was broken into.
It's amazing how this happened in a span of one hour too. We were definitely being watched on a regular basis, otherwise the losers who robbed us would not have known we weren't home.
Question: how are you able to watch someone everyday, so that you can rob them if there are gates at the front that supposedly keep non residents out' hmmmm'''''
Inside job, maybe' Jacked up "security" gates'
Scott was the only staff person that I could stomach. Everyone else there was okay but as time went on, they seemed to become phonier and phonier, until it was almost unbearable. Yes, I agree with the poster who said that the staff was always in the back, chatting it up when I came to pay my rent, etc.
The garage was a very nice size and we were able to get one in the building we lived in. There would sometimes be a lot of noise from kids plaing in the apartments down the hill but hardly ever late at night.
I loved the fitness facility, and the grounds were kept nice, except for the occasional 2.5 day stench from the fertilizer laid down by the landscapers. I never went to the pool, but it always looked beautiful at night as I drove down the hill.
The main office is absolutely stunning. The kitchen is gorgeous and they always have cookies there when you come in.
I liked the fact that I was right in the middle of I-24 and I-65, so I could take either one when I pleased. It's close to shopping (almost walking distance) and the neiborhood was decent.
The air did not work in the Master bedroom and everytime you take a shower, if you don't keep the bathroom door closed, the smoke alarm goes off.
After a few months there, we started to get mold and mildew in our windows. Yick.
I could always hear everything that was going on upstairs and in the hallways. The walls were very thin.
The water pressure definitely left something to be desired too.
Either way, I feel that HP apartments are nice, but they are extremely overpriced. I think they were put together very quickly and cheaply. I loved the fact that the microwave and washer/dryer came with the apartment, however, none of that matters when the place you lay your head every night is broken into and your valuables and memories are stolen by someone who doesn't even have a need for them.
I didn't appreciate the "care" given to us by the staff after the incident and I made sure to move out the same day. Strangely enough, during my stay there, the resident who lived directly across from me had their apartment broken into about 6 months prior as well as another resident a few weeks before that.
If you are going to move into HP apartments, make sure to move into the buildings in the very front. Anything further back than that leaves you prone to the same crime I fell victim to and that is a definite.
I came on this website to provide what I feel is an objective opinion about HP apartments, and if someone asked me if they should move there, I would tell them to shop around.
