Seriously...do people only comment when there are negative things to say' Of course they do. I'm not saying that the occasional whine isn't appropriate but do you guys honestly think that apartment living is supposed to be perfect.

I've lived at Hickory Point since they opened and I have never had any problems. Of course, I've had the occasional maintenance issue but it's expected with new construction. Cory has always been there asap when I call in an issue. The staff has always been super helpful to me, one time my dog got out and they came out to help me find him, another time, I was carrying a tv downstairs and one of the guys stopped to help me. That is customer service, they don't have to do that stuff. To me, that's going above and beyond.

Of course you're going to hear your neighbors, it's an apartment! This is the 10th apartment I've lived in and I've always been able to hear my neighbors, it's part of it! If the noise is excessive, like music, I'm sure the staff has measures in place to have that taken care of.

The amenities are great! Someone mentioned only one pool, but there are two pools and a hot tub. The fitness center is awesome, unlike any other apartment fitness centers I've seen. I don't play basketball, but I've never even heard of an indoor b-ball court at an apartment complex. I'm sure that the b-ball players appreciate it!

About the break-ins that people keep bringing up, what exactly do you expect the office to do about it. I wouldn't want to know that it had happened because it would make me paranoid. Your home could get broken into living anywhere, that has nothing to do with Hickory Point. Everyone has to take responsibility for themselves and take extra precautions. They have limited access gates and a courtesy officer, what more do you want'

I've loved living here, my renewal is coming up and I am pretty sure I'm going to renew, my job might be transferring me out of town, but if they don't. I'll be here another year!

I just thought it would be nice for someone to post when they're not whining about something.
