-Our Electric bill averaged $200/ month
-If you sat near a window in the winter you could literally feel the air coming in around the window seals.
-Attempted to charge $700 for carpet replacement following the 30 day contract period and ripped the carpet out and had new installed before contacting us.
-Every time the wind blows it sounds like the siding is ripping off the building.
-Sirens are about as common as the airplanes overhead.(and gun shots)
-Had lock replaced because our apartment was broken into and they attempted to charge us for the replaced lock!
-Parking was alway unavailable after 9, due to neighbors having company. Apartment does not have any extra parking for that.
-Office staff leaves early, never answers the phone, and closes 2-3 hours for staff meeting in the middle of business hours, or to have recess (drive up and down the hill on the golf cart).

This is an inaccurate review and a select circumstance. I still live here and can confirm first hand half of these points aren't applicable to the facility.

Obviously you don't use apartment ratings that much. A 55% is generally considered high. Most folks with common sense can weed out the bogus reviews. Like this one.

This rating is dead on! Obviously your standards of living are lower than others... it cant be that great .. they have a 55% rating.

Okay seriously the recess/golf cart comment is awesome! This place is such a joke. Terrible, horrendous, awful place to live!!! P.S. 55% is NOT a good rating. Where the heck did you go to school? Haha let me guess, no where! You probably got your GED and now work for Hickory Point.

This review is 100% true. I think that most of the comments disagreeing with this statement must be Hickory Point employees. I lived there for 2 years and I got on to write a review, but wanted to look at others first. It appears that most of the bad reviews were responded to by HP employees (I assume this because of the poor grammer skills). The complex is pitiful and the employees are not professional. Please take this review into serious consideration before you think about signing a lease at HP.
