The apartments overall were nestled in the hill off the major road, which was good for noise, and nice for location. Main problems were trash being 1/4 mile from your door if living anywhere on the top property. Have to drag it in or on your car to get it way down the steep hill. They are pet friendly and usually pretty clean outside. Apartments however have a nice feel when you walk in for the money. It's after you live there and realize, (especially the townhomes) the age of the property has caught up with them. BATHROOMS so small you could hardly move around in. TILES all split in Laundry Rooms. WALLS cracked in corners all through the place with terrible settling. FAKE carpets on the deck surface of townhomes is so chessy. WALLPAPER, and I mean DISCO wallpaper in bathrooms is 20 years old looking. Light fixtures, (lack of them shall we say) are old, paint stained and they made no effort to touch them up or replace them. Ceilings upstairs very 1980, LOW! the worst part is the eat in kitchen you hardly have enough room to cook in, let alone eat in. OLD OLD Brown cabinets, No window, DARK Gloomy kitchen with diplorable old appliances and tile. As I said, seemed safe, however the SHUBS were partly covering walkways and blocking areas, a crime could easily occur in the DARK areas where it is poorly lit. The MANAGER who is still there, is an absoulte BI***. Others in the office were "okay". The place wasn't noisy to me, or dirty. It is just outdated and they are a "touch-up" community. They don't replace or remodel anything. Grounds are ample, nothing pretty, and the pools are small and far from spectacular. Fine if you aren't into asthetics or care about the style of the unit.
