I've lived here for 8 years. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would not move, even for a house. In fact, I left for 2 years, bought a house and came right back here, because living here is like having a house except you don't have to keep up with the yard and stuff like that. I can't even begin to see why those people would write such nasty comments. Of course, I've went a few days without hot water, and my shower rod broke a couple of times, and I've had to walk around dog poop, and I've had to call them in the middle of the night because I locked the keys in my apartment when I was walking my dog at night. Things happen. Those people just can't seem to understand that if you ran out of hot water in a house, you'd have to pay someone to fix it. And if your neighbor had a dog, they might let their dog poop on your driveway. Maybe I'm strange for understanding that things happen and you just let the office know and they will fix it for you. These people probably didn't live here nearly as long as I have. I've seen the office staff come and go, but it's gotten better each and every time. Leanna is the manager and she's always very courteous and polite when I come by the office to say hi or pay my rent. If I ever have an issue, I just talk to them about it and they work something out with me. I love this place. Around the 400 and 500 building they do all kinds of fun things together such as the chili-cook off, labor day, and memorial day, and also july 4th, they all cook out and hang out in the yard between the two buildings. It's nice to get to know your neighbors. I hope this helps any new people who might be my neighbor. Don't let 3 unhappy people ruin your idea of a nice living. It's beautiful here, especially if you get an apartment on top of the ridge, where it overlooks the tops of the trees. It's really beautiful when the horizon is pink, purple, orange, or blue hues. Try it out for yourself and see how great it is.
