I should have known when I moved in that I'd have problems because the model vs. the actual apartment I was assigned to were nothing alike quality wise. Since I moved in I have had continual problems trying to get maintenance to fix my forever-brokedown-HVAC system. They have irresponsible people working in the office and have made multiple mistakes where my rent is concerned. They even had the nerve to raise my rent after my 1st lease. They mention a playground in their advertising, but it's trashed and the one time I took my child down there, there were broken bottles, beer cans, and even a needle in the sandbox. The complex as a whole is going downhill, and that's including the types of folks they'll rent to. The police have been to neigboring buildings numerous times, and my neighbors downstairs have 6 adults living under one roof and take up all of the "unassigned" parking spots. The worst part about that is if I have any guests, they're likely to have their car booted if other parking isn't available.
I am not a happy camper, but I'm a single mother and my options are very limited. I'm hoping to find something better in the area once they finish the construction of the new shopping center nearby.
