I have live at Hillwood Pointe for about a year now and I first lived in a one bedroom apartment that I really enjoyed. It was quiet, peaceful and the neighbors were nice. I had few minor issues such as the dishwashing machine breaking down, but it was taken care of and replaced as soon I notified the leasing office. All the problems that I had were taken care of pretty quickly and efficiently.
But now, I live in a three bedroom and it seems like the "other side of the railroad tracks" in this area of the complex. I never had bugs, but the buildings down here have roaches. They sprayed a couple of weeks ago, but I just saw one last night so I think its about time for them to spray again. I'm thinking the bugs and the trash and the "hoodness" because the three bedrooms have more families living in them than do the one-beds. The leasing office doens't respond to our requests here in the three-beds as they did when I lived in the one-bed. I also heard about some gang activity that went on a few weeks ago that the leasing office DID NOT notify the residents about and I am highly upset about that. They could have notified us to let us know that we need to be extra careful, but they failed to do this. I'm really ready now to move away, but the lease isn't up for a few more months.
