I have lived in Hillwood Pointe for a little over a year. The prior management were wonderful. MRG is the management company who has taken over and they have hired the most incompetent, rude, unyielding and disrespectful people I have ever come in contact with. Additionally, the grounds are absolutely horrible. There's trash everywhere, dead trees that died in the drought 2 years ago that are still standing, and instead of replacing the dead shrubbery that died, they just broke it down to stumps at the ground and left them. For mulch, they use the cheapest pine needle they can find and they blow away in the spring wind almost immediately, leaving the ground around what's left of the landscaping a dry, brown eyesore. Many of the tenants here are gang like drug dealers that play loud rap music at all hours of the day and night and management simply doesn't care. All they care about is getting your rent. Loud screaming and sex and everything unGodly goes on here. When my lease expires, I'm gone. The manager is fake and as transparent at glass. She will tell you anything you want to hear to get you to sign the 19 page lease they have here. After that, you're on your own. There gunfire here at night and this is no place for a decent, God fearing human being to live. Don't move here. There are better and cheaper places.

I am not sure where this person lives! I have none of these problems and gangs don't live here... that is really overly exaggerated... honestly, I dont think gangs could afford to live in the complex. Also, management does background checks so it really is a safe neighborhood.

This response was either written by management or a friend of management. I live in Hillwood Pointe and that's why I wrote the review. I don't lie and don't appreciate being called a liar, even in an insinuation. The statement that gangs couldn't afford to live here is absurd. These apartments are more expensive than they have any right to be, but gang members certainly can and do live here. Just so you know, gangs sell drugs and that's a very lucrative business, however illegal it may be. If it's such a safe neighborhood, why have there been so many break-ins in cars in the parking lot & gun shots at least every few nights. The police patrol through here on a regular basis because residents have asked them to. There is no security in this complex because the management's too cheap to hire anyone. I'll be happy to field any responses to this. Bring it on!

Well it sounds like this place has only gone downhill sine me and my fiancee single handedly got all of management fired for failing to report a shooting (an idiot who decided to shoot at his drug dealer with his friend was in the car). Btw you can probably break your lease by siteing that you no longer feel safe and mentioning intent of bringing up a lawsuit against them even if only for the purpose of getting out. Don't get me wrong we have some great memories from the place but the nightmare at the end wasn't worth it.

I believe disgusted summed it up quite well. The anonymous person who posted must be with management. I posted my experiences in a review, "Don't Live Here" under Vandygrad. Believe everyone and do not stay here. It is a mistake, and the shame is that it is mostly due to incompetent management. They seem to have no social skills or business sense. Their customer service is terrible. I believe this is why I met three different managers in my year long stay. They can't seem to find capable staff members.
