THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE CONDEMED

This complex needs to be condemed and burned to the ground. My mother in-law moved here in in 1997, at that time, although it was not the Hilton, it was a decent place. Three years ago my husband and I moved in to take care of her, because she had become diabled. When we came here things weren't too bad as far as the neighborhood went. She has a 2 bedroom, and our lease had expired on our place. She still had 11 months left on hers. It was more economical for us to move here than to pay to get her out of the lease and rent somewhere else. We are saving money to buy a home but between my health problems and hers the medical bills take most of our money, but we are doing the best we can with what we have. Since moving here my car has been hit several times with major damage done, and they just drive off. I have a nice car that has never been wrecked, and up until I moved here it didn't have a single scratch on it. The majority of the tenanants are hispanic illegal immigrants, who do not speak english, work here illegally, live 12 to a two bedroom apartment with kids ranging from infant to teenagers, and don't have car insurance. The roaches here are so bad that we call our own exterminator to come in every two weeks and it keeps them away for a couple of days. We have roach bate laid out in every conceivable place but nothing kills them. The floors and ceilings are falling through in several places throughout the apartment. Through the cracks in the wall in the full bath you can literally see the roaches teeming and crawling around. Not to mention all the black mold and water rotted walls through out the apartment. The AC never works and the maintenace crew is so pathetic they aren't capable of screwing in a lightbulb much less actually fix something. That's even if you can get them to even come look at whatever is torn-up. The grounds are filthy with litter and broken bottles. The dumpsters are constantly over flowing, but usually the trash is just thrown at the dumpster not actually put in it. So it lays out in the middle of the parking lot and is strown across the grounds. The laundry mat if filthy and unkept. I go to a local laundry mat to do the bulk of my laundry, but every now and then I just need a small load washed. a When I go in to the one here I feel like I should be tested for hepatitis and God only knows whatelse. There's drug parafilnila laying everywhere, people having sex out in the middle of the yard at night, used condoms everywhere, people sit on your vehicles, let their kids run wild, unsupervised and undisiplined. They don't even blink an eye at their kids running across the hoods of vehicles or standing on the roof of your car. On any given night people are shooting each other and fighting. The outside lights on the buildings don't work, so at night it's pitch black. Just last year a man was attacked on his front porch when he came home from work and was beaten really bad by two men. No one bothered to help or to call the police, but they did come out on their balconies and patio to watch. When I heard the commotion I called the police, I was put on hold for 10 minutes and it took and other 30 for them to get here. The police station is like 5 miles away. Don't even get me started about the prostitutes patroling the complex. We are struggling to save enough money to make a decent downpayment on a home far away from here. I used to love Nashville but now I hate it with a passion unequal to anythingelse I have ever known. We made a grave mistake moving here and we are having to pay dearly for it. Please do not make the same mistake too. Reguardless of how bad things are and you need a place to live, don't move here. There are a million other better places in Nashville to live. Moving here is the equivilant to being in the clutches of hell. It's easy to get in but getting out is nearly impossible.

I do have to agree with the review of this article. This place is hell in a hand bag. The first night that I lived there my step dads truck was almost stolen bc the communication (or lack there of between employees), then as my parents were dealing with that SOMEONE BROKE INTO MY HOUSE AND STOLE MY MOMS PURSE AS SHE WAS RIGHT DOWN STAIRS! THEN THE VERY NEXT MORNING RETURNED IT RIGHT TO MY DOOR STEP! Her cell phone and debit card were gone but thats not the point.
As far as the actual tenants, unless u are Hispanic all the women look at you like your either going to steal there men or kill their kids. Out of the year that I lived there, I think I saw 3 people that spoke English.
They say its a luxury town home? Well Im still not seeing it and as for the advertising, they should say the ROACHES COME FREE! Matter of fact they should help pay the rent!
