i lived at Hunter's pointe for 2 years until i purchased a home. The property changed hands and the new management team would not give me a total to pay to get out of my lease. They kept telling me to come back when another mamager could tell me. As a result of MANY attempts to come by and pay, call to find out a dollar total, and a final notarized letter asking for ANYONE to call me with a total...they wouldnt contact me though they had my new address, my work address, my phone numbers. Instead they waited 6 months and sent me to collections! i never paid my rent late...i never was a noise problem or anything.....they just DO NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE! ALL YOU ARE IS A NUMBER AND A MONTHLY RENT FEE. WHEN YOU DECIDE TO LEAVE... THEY DECIDE IF THEY WANT TO MAKE ANY EFFORT AT THAT POINT. THE LAW SUPPORTS THEM NOT DOING ANYTHING AND YOU ARE LEFT IN LIMBO.... BESIDES THIS....they call themselves a luxury apartment complex...well they are if you have been living on a dirt floor somewhere first. The walls are thin..you can hear what your neighbors are doing./..maintenance is spotty and never proactive.
