My family and I lived here for 1 1/2 years and it was an awful experience. You wouldn't believe how bad these apartments are. Yeah they are big a spacy, but they are old and falling apart. They are also owned by AIMCO and they care NOTHING about the residents. We had so many leaks in our ceiling that the carpet smelled of mildew. For what seemed like eternity our hall way stayed flooded and we had to wear shoes to walk in our own apartment. They would fix it and it would break a day or two later. One day the neighbors sewer or something backed up into kitchen. Raw sewage was all over our counters, sink, floor, and even in the drawers in our kitchen. You could just imagine the smell. They did not even offer to clean it for us. It was sooooooooooo gross. Our kitchen stayed flooded for a week one time The maintained staff was horrible. They couldn't fix ANYTHING. The apartment was infested with brown recluse spiders. Those of you that don't know those are poisonous. The only thing they did (after many many complaints) was put out spider traps (sticky papers that only catch them if they crawl on it). Our neighbor was almost always drunk. He would bang on our door and ask for stupid stuff. He always had his drunk buddies over and they would say inappropriate things to me. They smoked so much the smell made our apartment stink like smoke too. I was so glad to be put of there, but we made a huge mistake. We moved to another complex owned by AIMCO. And well, they don't care about the apartments as long as they are getting their rent. So, watch out!!! Stay far far away from Knollwood, Post Ridge, or any other complex owned by AIMCO. Also, Bellevue is going downhill FAST!!! You might as well, live closer to downtown. Good luck.
