I am not happy.

I have called to have my furnace repaired three times this month and it still isn't working properly.

It won't shut off.
They replaced the thermostat on the last visit and the thing still won't shut off. I can't even turn it to the off position and have it shut down. I have to throw the circuit breaker.
Also, the fan is so loud when it runs, the walls of the adjoining bathroom start to shake. It sounds like the thing is cutting through the plasterboard.

Your company will be held responsible if I fry to a crisp in my bed.
Your company will be held responsible if my dog over heats and dies because the heat doesn't shut off and the temperature rises to the 90s while I'm at work.

You are costing me MONEY in electricity and inconveniencing me.
You are putting me and my family and my family pet at risk.

It is bad enough that the community management gives me a verbal assurance, verbal contract shall we, at lease signing that the cupboards [which are hanging crooked, missing runners in drawers, splintered, warped and damaged to the point that some of them can't even be used or opened properly] would be painted and repaired; only to have someone at the main office tell them they can't do anything to fix or replace them. Now I am endangered, because your company is so poorly managed the folks here can't get the furnace fixed properly or get authorization to replace it. I bet they are so used to getting blown off they don't even bother trying to get authorization anymore. It's really not so hard to authorize proper repair or maintenance or replacement of a furnace and a hell of a lot cheaper than getting sued by a grieving family.

Now, I would have simply put in another request for a repair and slept without heat, if your website were accepting my login. Oh, and I was a computer tech for 4 years so don't think for another second that the problem is with my ability to log in.

I work for the State of TN and I will be reporting this to the appropriate authorities if something isn't done to fix this furnace permanently.

If it weren't for the "Duct-tape Maintenance" your local management has to provide because the Corporate office is more interested in fleecing it's tenants than investing in the community, Knollwood would be a terrific place and location to live. At least they respond quickly, when you can put your request in for a repair.

I can't tell you how many friends and co workers I could have refereed to come live here if I could feel confident they wouldn't curse me later. This is a great end of town and you people are under selling yourselves by not taking care of your property and allowing your people to care for your property with integrity. The management here does everything it can to take care of things and keep it looking great. I hold Corporate headquarters responsible for the failures here to make this community thrive.
