I've been living at Knollwood for a little over a year. Compared to other places I have lived in, I would say Knollwood is on par with what I expect from an apartment complex.

Maintenance is always done in a timely fashion. I occasionally hear construction noise, but that is to be expected with all the construction going on. I really don't hear it as much as I would expect to. The only complaint I've had since living there is my balcony was blocked off for about half the time I've been living there (because they took the railings off to work on it) with no compensation. Otherwise, it is a relatively quiet, safe place to live.

My lease hasn't run out yet (and therefore my rent hasn't gone up), and I am moving when it does, but it is because I'm buying a house. If I wasn't, I would definitely continue to live here. I have recommended it to friends, and the ones who have moved here, seem pleased as well.
