Living in this complex has been the worst apartment living experience I have ever had in over 44 years of renting. Personally I have had my apartment door kicked in and property stolen, and twice within one week I had a total of 3 tires slashed...this within the last two weeks. The management will not hire on-site security guards or put up surveillance cameras. On one day 20 people had their tires slashed. They are trying to portray this place as "upscale" since they have remodeled, charging excessive rates for a 35 year old property and claiming in their ads "great living". There is nothing great about this place. There are pest problems, many cars have had windows smashed and stereos stolen, motorcycles have been vandalized and many residents have suffered break-ins. This place is not safe and the financial losses I personally have suffered here are upwards of $1700.00. I am leaving as soon as possible and I would not recommend living here to anyone. To top it all off, they will not release you from your lease if you are the victim of these crimes and insist that you give 60 days notice and pay a penalty fee for terminating your lease early. They expect you to just continue to have your car tires slashed, or otherwise vandalized for an additional 60 days. BE WARNED! DON'T LEASE HERE...YOU WILL REGRET IT. Totally dissatisfied at 865 Bellevue.
