In the year and a half I have lived at Knollwood, now called 865 Bellevue Apartments, the following things have happened:

- Two apartments buildings (that's buildings, not individual units) were consumed by fire due to electrical problems in the building (according to the fire marshal).
- Renovations have been carried out in an improper, dangerous fashion. We have been consistently mislead as to the status of renovations and the burden placed on residents. During renovations, our electric bill tripled.
- Although the complex touts 24 hour security, I have not once seen the "courtesy officer" on the grounds, and I know several residents have had problems with crime.
- Construction waste has lead to three flat tires in our household.
- Communications from the staff are consistently rude, demeaning, and occasionally threatening.

I have been renting apartments for almost 10 years, and this is the worst living situation I have ever been a part of. The customer service at this complex is abhorrent. It is more than clear to me that the staff of this property (which apparently has a very high turnover rate) could not possibly care any less about their residents. I implore anyone considering a move to this property to avoid living here at all costs, even if it means renting somewhere else at a higher rate. Believe me, it is not worth it.

All that being said, the only positive thing about the complex is its courteous and helpful maintenance staff.

I cannot adequately describe the negativity I have toward Knollwood (now 865 Bellevue). If I can deter even one person from living here, I will feel better.

This is totally false. I lived there and the staff there was nothing but accomodating and nice. Karen, the manager will give you the shirt off her back if you ask. The reason people have problems here is because they create them.

Sawyerbean works for 865 Bellevue, previously known as Knollwood. Karen is rude and manipulative and does not have enough smarts to realize she is just a puppet for the corporate people. Look at the rating given by people visiting this site. Be smart - pay attention to those who have dealt with this people after a contract has been signed. The attitude is much different than before your hooked! Oh, and all those wonderful, undocumented illegal aliens around you, your home, YOUR CHILDREN - do you think your safe at night???

In response to SAWYERBEAN, Karen is a liar and a back stabber. She lied to my face multiple times while my family was being exposed to aesbestos and when we tried to get help she lied to the health department, but they told me they knew she was lying and helped us, because they had concrete proof of what was really going on in those apartments. So don't say she'd give the shirt off her back, maybe after she doused it with gasoline and lit it on fire.

I agree....the maintenance staff is GREAT!
