I'm stuck in a lease. I moved here for the low rent. It turns out that I would have spent the same at another apartment complex if I had added in the water bill and electric bill. I glanced at a few of the previous remarks and I have to agree. My car was broken into but I guess it couldn't be hard to break into anything with the dim light provided by the apartment complex. Thankfully it was only my car.
The bathtub/shower is plastic. Yes, Plastic! Needless to say, I know way too much about my upstairs and next neighbor's showering habits. Oh, that dishwasher. It was broken when I moved in...then they came to fix the dishwasher a week later. It flooded the kitchen and they came back to fix it. The nice man told me that it needed to be replaced and that he was going to order a new one. I went to the office about a month later and they didn't have the request. Seems that it was lost and it took 6 months to get around to fixing the problem. Now my dishwasher works very well at moving the soap around on different dishes.
The washer broke stopped on the same cycle. Well, it too was fixed and now can almost walk.
The windows provide a nice strong breeze of frost. Thank God I own tons of blankets.
There are other issues and many stories from neighbors that I could share but if you are looking into moving, I suggest to walk around the property and ask people. Go to the mailboxes and ask someone if they've had any issues with the office staff or their apartment. I've met a lot of people that around the apartment complex this way. There's few unhappy people here that are stuck in their lease.
I'm sure that the office staff has people above them that are making them the unhelping people that they are. I'm just tired of different people and different excuses.
Oh the parties, I haven't heard a party in a while. But with these floors that crack each time that you walk on them, I'm sure that it sounds like a party. I thought my upstairs neighbor was jumping up and down to be rude until I noticed that any pressure on the flooring while provide a large cracking noise. The plastic bath tubs and horrible flooring provides a very noisy environment.
oops, i forgot...don't be late on your rent. They charge the overpriced market price plus 10% of that.....

yeah the whole late fee on rent..it isn't legal, i looked it up..they won't be doing that anymore. the snakes!
