I moved in to Madison at Rigdelake back in December of '06 and the 4 and a half months I have been here have been pure hell. To start with, my apartments front door does not properly close. I have to pick up on the door handle to shut the door and pull/push on the door to lock it. I can see light coming around the door at night and have cold/hot air constantly coming in. The next problem is the my oven does not work. I have notified managment of this on several occassions. In the hallway bathroom, I cannot take a shower in because the shower "head" sprays water everywhere and the toilet constantly backs up. Another problem I have is is my neighbors. One set of neighbors are constantly throwing parties and have people coming in and out all day and night. I very rarely can park my car anywhere near my apartment because of the party goers. I have had a problem with someone entering my apartment while I was at work on at least 3 occassions that I know of. One time I had proof because I came home and found a key in my lock and my door wide open. I have notified management of this and they told me that I was being hysterical because the keys have bar codes on them and no one but office personnel have access to them. I showed the "manager" the key that I found in my door and nothing was said. I have had my car hit several times and broke into once. My stereo ad several hundred cd's were stolen along with all the contents in my glovebox. I have even been told by Metro Police that they would not live here because of all the problems.

We have lived here for almost a year and I think we have had about the same problems, minus the stove problem. I can't wait for our time here to be over, I'm ready to move.
