Where to Begin...'

First of all, from reading these reviews, I think we got one of the better, and I use that term loosley, apts. We moved here from out of town, and like everyone else says on here, we really got "lured in" from the outside, and were also told anything that we needed to hear. Our first problem was before we even moved in, but after we had signed our lease! We were told we could bring our own fridge... and then told we couldnt. We specifically looked at several apts, before we made our desicion, and requested one in particular. After we had already paid our deposit on it, and signed the lease on it, we got a call that someone made a mistake and that the one we picked was already taken! We had already started the moving process, so it was too late to turn back. We were given another open one, but never allowed to see it, until the moment we moved in. This was apparently due to them replacing the carpet, which was a lie, because it was so bleached from the sun coming in by the sliding doors that it had to have taken years to get that bad, and it has a big stain right inside the door! Anyway, we were told that it would be no problem moving into a better unit, as soon as one was available, because of their mistake. They never allowed us to relocate, telling us that all the better apts were reserved for new clients only. That was for appetizers. Then oneday, the sherrifs office knocks on the door with a court date, for failing to pay something... we were completely unaware of anything unpaid. Our constant calls to the office to see what this was about were never returned, and if we got her on the phone she would say she was busy, and basically refuse to talk to us at all. So at court we found out there was some part of the application fees that we didnt pay for(we didnt know there were any fees that we didnt pay, the agent didnt say a word about this alleged unpaid fee) and they also said that we didnt pay a months rent, when we had the payment stub in our hands. Then we found out that we were being evicted for this $106 fee that we "failed to pay"! (We have been paying almost $1000 a month to live here, we would have happily paid this tiny amount had we known about it!)And in the state of TN, an eviction cannot be undone by the judge! She at least didnt make us pay anything, and stipulated that they were not to put eviction on our history, much thanks to her! The problem is, that we have no idea when we are supposed to move out, because we still have not recieved any notice from the office here, and we cant get a return phone call. I dont even know if they know we are supposed to be evicted, since the one who told us was from corporate, and they seem to have NO communication with the office here'' Add to all this that the parking is a joke, they never fix any of the lighting lamps aroung the parking lots, the drains are so full its ridiculous, the indoor pool, which is an amenity we are paying for stayed broken for 3 months and they take forever to fix everything else, yet they are having the parking space lines repainted'' No doubt to draw in "fresh meat"! Also, we got a notice on our door the first week we were here that there was a break in... we asked the office about it, and they said that someone had staged it for the insurance money, yet I see now that there really is alot of crime covered up at this place. I am now officialy afraid to walk my dog (a bid dog) at night , so my husband has to do it when he gets home from work! So anyway, I still dont know how this eviction thing is going to go down... but I expect a bumpy road! If you are thinking of moving here, HEED THE WARNINGS ON HERE!! I know alot of people just like to complain, and thats how alot of lookers will justify moving in here anyway, but all the complaints on here are actually truthful, I would say that most of the complaints are rather reserved and polite! I apologize for my lenghty review, but I felt it was necessary! BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY!!!
