This property is overall the best building downtown. It is reasonably priced; and the apartments are large with plenty of closet space. The manager & her staff are very courteous and make every attempt to keep the building and grounds in excellent condition.
I will attempt to address some of the negative comments posted in earlier reviews. 1)Noise: Yes, the building is downtown (not in some rural valley); so outside noise is sometimes present. If you like the pace & excitement of urban living, noises are a part of it. 2)Parking: Someone complained about parking tickets. Well, actually not getting a parking ticket is easy; keep your eye on your meter. Parking downtown does take planning. It is true that the buildings assigned parking requires being on a waiting list; but meters are plentiful and only require money for about 6 hours on weekdays only. Also, plentiful monthly parking is available in the area.
Some of the other complaints were almost too silly to address. I dont relate to them at all. Ive rarely ever seen an insect. The apartments are 40 years old; but they are much more solid than newer ones; and management responds quickly to maintenance needs. As I said earlier, they are well maintained at all times. The complaint about smelling cooking odors is ludicrous. Where dont you smell cooking on occasion' The allegation that management comes into apartments without authorization or prior notice is ridiculous. The manager & her team work for a well-respected company in Nashville that maintains a high level of professionalism.
REALLY, these are great apartments.
