I moved into my apartment in the summer and haven't really had any problems. Parking is a problem, but only sometimes, such as during a concert at the auditorium or a Titans game. Generally, there is an abundance of parking on the streets around the building. As for bugs, I have seen a few ants, but nothing worth worrying about. My A/C unit is new, my bills are low. As for the noise, I completely agree with the last review on that one. The trains get annoying, but they won't keep you up at night, only be a nuisance during the day when you might be on the phone. Some of the complaints I've read aren't fair as the building was built in 1960 and some of the problems can be attributed to that. For downtwon living, the rent is very reasonable. Fair warning though, downtown is relative as it is several blocks away from anything that might involve people past 6:00PM. I do like my apartment and the view. Check it out before disregarding the place based on some of the other reviews. I read the reviews before I looked here and am glad I did. One last note, make sure you know what apartment you'll be renting as the smells can be pretty pungent. Indian food cooking will stick on your clothes once you've left your apartment. My floor doesn't have any problems though.
