Archstone Good... Mission Bad...

As with everyone here, I was far more satisfied when Archstone owned this property. The new ownership seems to be an investment company and doesn't really care about residents here.
I moved in about 2 months before Mission took over the property and I was very satisfied with the way things were going, the management was very friendly and everything was going well. Mission took over without notifying anybody, I was out of town and had friend stopping by and I told them to look for Archstone Brentwood and they argued with me that it didn't exist, and when I came back, the signs and everything had changed.. My upstairs neighbor had a leaky toilet which was causing the sheetrock in my kitchen to sag... I called the maintenance department to take a look at this and they did, cut out a 3'x3' square where it was wet and fixed the leak upstairs, left me a note that they would have the sheetrock replaced later that week... 2 weeks passed and nothing happened... I called the office and was told that the work had been completed.. I explained that I still had a 3'x3' hole in my kitchen ceiling and that it hadn't been repaired and I was assured that it would be fixed... This repeated itself over the next 3 months until I went in and interrupted the property manager while he was talking to "future residents" and bitched about the gigantic hole in my ceiling... 3 days later it was finally fixed...
Then there's the problem of my upstairs neighbor thinking that it's A. Ok to play drums in an apartment, and B. That it's ok to play them at 8am on a Saturday morning... Management could really care less about this as well..
I'll probably be migrating across the street here into the new development instead of staying here. The complex may look nice from the street, but don't be fooled, stay away.. Not worth the money.
