I have read a few of the other reviews on this site regarding how bad things are since the transition but I disagree. Yes, there was a definite transition period from Archstone selling to Mission. However in the past 6 months or longer you can see that the staff that is there now knows what is going on and they are working to make this a great community to live in. They now pass out breakfast at the first of the month (and sometimes I think they may be nuts because it was extremely cold some mornings). They also have started an early bird drawing monthly for people paying rent early. I would have still paid my rent early but its nice to know that I could win money off my rent for doing it. Recently they just had a wine and cheese party in the office which was nice. I guess now that I have taken the time to get to know the office staff, I a have an appreciation for what they are trying to do and it has helped to shake off the not so pleasantness of the transition.

All those things to me (early bird drawing, free breakfast on the day rent is due) points to a company that is having cash flow problems and are trying to get people to pay their rent on time (you really need to entice people to pay their rent on time?). I lived there for 2 years until about 6 months ago and during those years I saw the quality of tenants diminish greatly. People who don't care about throwing trash in the parking lot, including broken beer bottles. Loud, obnoxious parties 3-4 nights a week. Squealing tires in the parking lot. No wonder they're having trouble getting rent, it was spent on beer. It really depends on what building you live in, some aren't so bad. But the trend is getting worse, especially for the money they want for rent.

Just a thought. Maybe the new company just has a little thing called good customer service. I lived at an apartment community in Murfreesboro that had very similar customer service type events they did every month as well and they didn’t have a cash flow problem nor do I think Mission has a cash flow problem. If you look in an apartment guide you can see that they have purchased 6 or 7 other properties in Nashville I believe pretty recently. Again, doesn’t sound like they have money issues. But hey, to each his own opinion. Apparently you must be pretty bitter considering you moved out 6 months ago but are still looking at this site. Maybe its just boredom?

Its really nice they are doing the drawing etc. I didn't know anything about that (and the breakfast etc.?) I've lived here 1 1/2 years and never had a flyer or anything telling me about their events, that kind of sucks.
