CRIME:
The crime here is really bad. One girl lived on a ground floor apt and had a man come in through the patio door. She was just getting out of the shower and he stabbed her 6 times. We were all sent letters a FEW MONTHS later to be aware of locking our patio/balcony doors. Fortunatly, she lived.
Tons of cars broken into. Our 2 cars got broken into 4 times.
APPEARANCE:
Old buildings. Dirty windows and you can't clean them when you live upstairs. Water damage in the bathrooms. Really BIG spiders and spider webs are in all the walkways and also around mailboxes. Obviously, they don't treat very well for bugs. Fast food containers are all over the property. The lawn maint people just mow over all the trash, so you just end up with McDonald's confetti.
MANAGEMENT:
Sucked. Get every WORD they tell you in writing! They screwed us out of $700 when we transferred from another Archstone property. They will smile and treat you nice and lie in your face. Do not trust these people!!!
SECURITY:
Tons of teens and early 20's gangster looking thuds hang out and play basketball and loiter and stare at you when you drive.
The gate at the entrance is ALWAYS broken. They should just throw away the darn thing!
Couldn't wait for the lease to run out. We lived there 2 yrs. The 1st yr wasn't too bad, but we couldn't really withstand another big move, so we endured it another yr.
