I really hope that anyone reading this rating considers the source from which it came and knows that about 90% of it is bullcrap!! From what I hear on the news most enterings into homes and apartments are all entering through unlocked doors and windows. Duhhhh dude and dudettes, keep your windows locked and don't extend an invitation for strangers to come on in. Guess what''''' They will....come in..!!!!!
Could it have been this recent incident was also through an unlocked door''''' See you really don't know all the details so this is where the first part of your incorrect information starts.
As far as the apartment complex and management, I do not believe you are being fair and I do believe you have let your mouth overload just a bit and voiced an opinion that is yours and while you have the right to voice your opinion, we all know what they say about opinions. They are like a certain part of our body, everybody has one. And sometimes they both get moving and don't know when to quit or shut up.
Your post was both damaging and untrue - facts you quoted do not reflect how most of the tenants feel and I for one would like to go on record as saying I have been here for over 15 yrs and have gone through different management and management teams and can honestly say this management team is my favorite. I was glad they were able to say on when Mission took over. They are the cream of the crop and top notch in keeping their promise. Scott, Kristina, Michael, and Shannon are nothing but fair folks trying to maintain a complex where tenants are more diversed than they ever have been. Meeting our needs is something I have always felt they are always more than fair. Sometimes with so many types of individuals you have to serve time frames are not always the same. My timeframe requirements and definitions I am sure would be different than yours. Just like some folks have no patience and others are way more tolerant and patient.
You don't mention any other complex in which you have lived but I would like to hear what issues you had there as well. Are you the type that picks at every little thing and make a huge problem out of it instead of trying to be a part of the solution, you are always on top of being the biggest part of the problem. There are many things you do not disclose in your ugly untrue comments but one of them is your age, your education level and most of all your ability to handle issues on a professional level and realize no one is perfect and there will be problems everywhere if you think you can run away from all problems and the world will be perfect you are not mature enough to know that everywhere has problems and the parking issue you mentioned is minimal to what we could have in this complex. Check with friends of yours, (I know as perfect as you sound you have many friends maybe they have issues also.) Check with anyone from other complexes and maybe they don't have just issues with parking, maybe they have killings in their doorways and stabbings on their patios. Check the news for a few of the Harding Road Apt. complexes and you might be thankful you live at Mission Apartments. I know I am and have throughly enjoyed my years here and I am not saying everything has been without issues because it has not, but I am saying that the team we have in charge have always done their best to assess the issue and correct within a reasonable amount of time. And with all involved parties best interest at heart.
Have you noticed the amount of walkers, runners, and dog walkers we have in our complex. They walk early morning, during the day and after dark. This has been going on for all the many years I have lived here. My point is they must feel safe enough to walk continually at all the different time frames without concern.
I would recommend Mission Briley Parkway to any of my friends and to anyone that is looking for an apartment where management goes above and beyond to work with whatever issues arise, utilities are reasonable because of the energy saver certification from NES when apartments were built, big rooms and lots of storage space, grounds maintence that is consistent, issues are addressed as quickly as they can and I know from experience they are great at prioritizing in the event of major problems that can arise.
Be fair and rethink your comments and consider a retraction to your opinion that perhaps you were not thinking clearly and several things you said were not true and as accurate as you thought. Ask God for direction and solution and I prey he will direct you in a forgiving path and let you see how wrong and hurtful (both personally and professionally)your comments were and how it is never too late to say you apologize.

You MUST work for the complex, if not be the general manager or even own it. These people do not come on here and post a bad review for their health. They don't randomly wake up in the morning and think about posting bad reviews for no reason. Bad reviews come because bad things happen and a solution is never met. If the complex had fixed these issues that are being posted, there would be no need to post a bad review. I would've loved to give good feedback about this place however I would be lying and it would be, as you say, "90% bullcrap".
Don't throw God around on a whim. Acting like we're not "christian" because we have an opinion and use this website as an outlet. This website was made to be an outlet and give other people a heads up for what they're about to get into. Don't lecture us on "forgiving paths". Perhaps you should shut your mouth and take care of yourself before you criticize others when you don't know their entire situation or story. Once you have physically sat down and spoken with each of these individuals, including myself, you assume you know the story and voice your opinion on our experiences. Doesn't the Bible say something in regards to judging others? Don't throw religion around like you're the world's expert on what God wants us to do.
I've lived in roughly 10 different complexes as I'm in the military and move ALOT. Mission Briley Parkway is always in the back of my mind because it was the first place I lived and so far, is still the worst. When my wife and I moved in, it was owned by Archstone, and it as a great place to live. Then the next year it was taken over by Mission, a company that proved to us no matter how much rent you pay a month or how many times you paid on time or the fact that you were never late with your payments, none of it mattered and you still would be treated as a burden & ignored.
I have no problem believing you are probably an employee of the complex venting and trying to raise your rating. As I said before, your vent assumes these reviews just appeared for no good reason. However, I guarantee you they came from people who were mistreated, ignored, and they simply needed a place to vent their frustrations.
Take your own advice. Ask God to forgive you for judging and making assumptions and maybe He'll direct you down a forgiving path and reveal to you how wrong & hurtful you are. Don't forget, it's never too late to say you're sorry. (Do you have any idea how stupid that sounds?)

Mr. Military, BLESS YOU for being so honest and calling out the OBVIOUS management. I have lived in 2 Mission properties, the first one was Bellevue Ridge and it was the WORST I have ever lived in in my life. And I have moved many many times also as I am a single person having had military parents, been in college, divorced, etc so I KNOW a good place. Granted, I understand that being a rental manager can be a very challenging job, as you can't always please 500 or more people, but then there is just a such thing as good customer service (pretty simple, huh?) and an apartment is a product that you sell, if you're not proud of it, wouldn't live in it yourself or aren't sure that it is safe and comfortable to live in, DON'T SELL IT! The appliances should be up to date, the gate should be working!!!!!! and the agents shouldn't make promises that they can't back up! Making something sound better than it is just to make a sale is WRONG! Whatever I just hope that people read these reviews so they won't make the same mistake I did. The rent is too high for the product that you get, the apts aren't as nice as the models they show you!
