I lived in the (Ghetto) back area, the older buildings, in a 1 bedroom, luckily in the 1 beds, you have no upstairs neighbors-- the only plus. The older buildings seem to be "no credit or background check required"
-enough said. Other than noisy and disrespectful neighbors, loud car music etc... no real problems with apartment. Then I moved into the brand new units up front on the ground floor, horrible insulation between upstairs plus having 2 sets of disrespectful upstairs neighbors especially after 10pm, nothing done after many complaints to management. Cars fly by banging music (on the way to back area) not safe for kids.
Management could use improvement. Paid rent always on time but management always seemed as if you were bothering when raising concerns or needed information or
God-Forbid, something fixed.
Moved to house, much happier. Mortgage not much more $, than new 3 BD apartment at The Lakes. Gladly pay for the peace.
It is a shame that any place you find that is fairly kept up, with decent management, and an affordable rent is ruined by loud and disrespectful neighbors - seems to be the case in so many of the reviews here.
