Mission Priest Lake formerly Lakes Apartments

Living at The Lakes is like being forced to sit at the back of the bus.

We moved to The Lakes Apartments in 2004 under the notion that we would be in the "front of the bus/newer looking" apartments. That's what was told to us, but after the 1 1/2 month delay we found that we were going to the back of the bus.
I've lost count of the issues. I HATED these apartments since the first day. When I went the next day to complain, they said that I was locked into the lease and would either have to pay 2 months rent other fees to be released from it. This was the very next day after signing the lease. Translation: go to the back of the bus, boy you stuck.
Yes, that may be a strong translation, but I wanted to make a graphic comparisons of how they will make you feel.
We moved because we needed more room. But I rather be croweded in a nice apt with clean grounds, courteous staff than what we have at the Lakes.
These are only a few items I've found in front of our door that we had to sweep up, because they do not have a grounds crew. 1) nails, a sock, Dollar General bag, Milky Way wrapper, leaves, snow, trash bag, wood particles, beer can, a dead bird, and a skateboard.
If you move into this place you will quickly realize that you wasted your money, time, and peace. If I had to choose to move into The Lakes or anywhere else, I would choose anywhere else. DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE THEY TRY TO SALE YOU. IT'S NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. NO SPECIAL IS WORTH LIVING HERE, EXCEPT FOR FREE.
