I am a current resident of The Players Club. I have read the reviews previously posted and would like to add my comments. It has only taken about three months for me to begin the countdown to the end of my lease.
Upkeep of the property is definitely lacking. The landscaping is deceiving. Although the apartments appear to be nice and neat from the outside, maintenance inside is deficient. I moved into my apartment and advised management of problems present from previous tenants. Still, no attempt has been made to repair these issues.
Another maintenance issue is the laundry rooms. If you do not own a washer and dryer, do not count on the provided laundry rooms. For the past month and a half, two of the four dryers in the laundry room have been out of order. Has maintenance done anything about it' They were courteous enough to place an out of order sign on the dryers but have not attempted to make any repairs.
I was informed that a security officer lived on the premises when I signed my lease. As a female I am very concerned with safety. There has been a murder and a break in that I know of since I began staying here. A month after I moved in, I asked how to contact the security officer and was told that there was no security officer at the time. Basically, management lied.
Management has recently posted information on residents' doors concerning the parking problem. With the lack of parking and security, I am unsure why management gives residents two parking permits and then does not enforce any penalties on vehicles without permits. The most recent newsletter stated that any suggestions to improve living at The Players Club would be greatly appreciated. I personally know that management has received a suggestion to assign parking spaces, yet nothing has changed.
Overall, my experience here has not been pleasant. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG
